Translation: they do not leave the master’s door
even if hit by shoes a hundred times
do some good deeds, says Bulleh Shah
you lost your bid even to dogs
they are superior to you

al-farashah:

Ya Allāh give me the clear eye that can perceive your wisdom in your decree, and the faithful heart to understand what I will see, and infuse the gracious patience to my soul to accept whatever you ordained upon me.

Quote

"

For above your capacity there is a greater capacity, and your will is subject to that greater Will in every case.

You are not divided into two halves, now capable, now helpless. You are always helpless, only sometimes remembering, sometimes forgetting.

When you remember, then the heart of that moment becomes visible, and the way opens up before you. Indeed, what is our condition, seeing that lions, tigers and crocodiles are all helpless and tremble before God? Even the heavens and earth are helpless and subject to His decree.

Quote

"

….Why, night and day, do you search for quiet and rest? They cannot be found in this world. But not for one instant do you give up seeking these things.

The comfort you find in this world is like a lightning flash that passes but never endures. And what kind of lightning is it? Lightning full of hail, full of rain and snow, full of suffering.

No task in this world or the next is without suffering. Therefore, devote your suffering to the next world so it will not be wasted.

Quote

"God’s gifts are of two types: graces and afflictions. What He bestows upon you is a grace, while what He takes away from you is an affliction. Therefore, say: “I am a believer, God willing."

Quote

"

The Real ” Al-Haqq ” (Allah) looked at the hearts of men and did not find a heart that had more passion for Him than the heart of Muhammad may God bless and greet him.

Therefore He bestowed upon him The Ascension (Al-Isrā’) in order to hasten the vision [of God by Muhammad] and [their] conversation.

Quote

"

Opposite shows up opposite.. God created pain and grief for this purpose, to wit, to manifest happiness by its opposites.

Hidden things are manifested by their opposites; But, as God has no opposite. He remains hidden
